Hot Tub Fun Bolin x Reader

Y/n was laying on her bed in her apartment she shares with her friend Amber in Republic city thinking about the man she could never have. His name is Bolin ,he has a very muscular build, the most enchanting green eyes you had ever seen, and he's a sweet person, to top it all off. But sadly, he is dating Opal not you. I mean who wouldn’t Opals strong, beautiful and forgiving and she’s an air bender. You were just an average run of the mill water bender. I mean sure, you’re better off than most non-benders, but that wasn’t good enough for you. You wanted to be good enough for Bolin. The most perfect man you had ever met. “I’m never going to get over him”, Y/n thought. I mean who watches pro bending just to see their best friend all sweaty and hot looking and watches a mover just to see their best friend shirtless. Unless they’re obsessed with him. “Hey Y/n you ok”? Y/n turns to see her close friend Amber walk up to her with a concerned look on her face. “You had a forlorn expression on your face everything alright”? Y/n replied back sarcastically, “Yes everything is just peachy Amber”. Amber’s expression changes from concern to smug realization (She had the smug Spongebob face). “It’s about Bolin isn’t it Y/n”? Amber’s smug grin growing even bigger. “Maybe”. “Oh Y/n don’t be so down in the dumps. Love works in mysterious ways you know”. Y/n scoffed at that “Ya right maybe it does for you Amber but not for me”. “We’ll see Y/n we’ll see” Amber replies walking out of the room with that smug grin still on her face. Y/n then proceeds to smother the pillow with her face in frustration until she hears the phone ring. Y/n walks over and picks up the phone. “Yello”? “I thought you liked blue”? Y/n hears a joking voice say from the phone. “Oh hi Bolin what’s up”? Y/n asks. “Nothing much just wanted to know if you would like to come over to my apartment”. Bolin hears the line go dead “Y/n? Y/n”? huh I guess that’s a no Bolin thought. Suddenly he hears rapid knocking at his door. Bolin walks and opens the door to see Y/n smiling back at him. “Wow you got here fast” Bolin exclaims. “Why would I waste time on the phone that I could be using to get here”? Y/n replies with a smile on her face. “Wow impatient much”? Bolin teases. “Wouldn’t you be if your best friend had been too busy saving the world to hang out with you”? Y/n replies. That was really only half the truth. Y/n also came here in hopes of confessing her love to Bolin. “Ya I guess I would too if I wanted to hang out with someone as cool as me”! Bolin brags flexing his arms. Y/n giggles at his antics. “So what should we do Bolin”? “I dunno? Ummm….go watch Zoey, Amber and Jennifer’s probending match”? “Psshhh like they need our support they’re just as good as you guys were”. Amber who’s a Fire bender and her friends Zoey who’s a water bender and Jennifer who’s an earth bender formed a Pro bending team called The Sirens after the Fire Ferrets disbanded. Which brought back a lot of the popularity it lost when Bolin, Mako and Korra quit. “Huh I wonder how Korra and Asami are doing on their vacation”? “Who knows” was Bolin’s reply. Bolin and Y/n decide to go sit in the hot tub that Bolin still has for some reason as Bolin tells Y/n the story of how He and the rest of Team Avatar had defeated Kuvira and her massive Spirit Power Cannon. She was only half listening as she was drooling over Bolin’s well defined chest and abs. “Y/n are you even listening”, she hears Bolin ask snapping her out of her trance. “Of course I was”, Y/n lied. She sees Bolin smirk and walk or…swim towards her “Really cause it looked like you were focused on me not the story”. “You must be delirious if you think I-“ Y/n is cut off as Bolin presses his soft lips to hers. Y/n immediately kisses back, wrapping her arms around his back and pulling him closer and snuggling into his warm, bare chest. As they pulled apart, Y/n had a look of confusion on her face. “I thought you were dating Opal”. she says confused. “I was dating Opal”, Bolin replied. “But I broke up with her when I realized who I really love”. Y/n smiles sweetly at him and says “I love you to Bolin”. And once again they go in for a kiss.  Suddenly Bolin and Y/n hear a snap and they see Amber with a camera giggling like a school girl. “This is going in my scrapbook”. She says. Happily spreading her wings and flying out the window before Y/n can try to kill her. “Get back here you coward”! Y/n screams from the window as she launches ice at Amber in an attempt to shoot her down. Bolin just chuckles and looks at his wonderful new girlfriend that he hopefully will spend his entire life with.
